Originally built for the USCG Deepwater program, this 35' aluminum patrol boat is built for offshore operations and is powered by twin inboard diesel engines and water jets. The bow horn is designed to operate with a unique capture mechanism installed in the cutter for safe and smooth launch and recovery. Working with Human System Integration (HSI), many factors were taken into account when designing the interior of the boat. The Long Range Interceptor (LRI) can achieve speeds of up to 45 knots with a cruising speed of 35 knots.
