Assembler (Oceanside, CA)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction fo the Assembly Supervisor or Director of Manufacturing, the individual shall:

  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and fiberglass, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
  • Assemble and fasten hull to deck, using hand tools and fasteners.
  • Build or repair doors,  floors, and other  fixtures used in building boats, using  hand tools, and power tools.  Install doors, hatches, brackets, and benches.
  • Install Lifting fittings.
  • Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists.
  • Separate products according to weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used to produce them.
  • Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks.
  • Lay-out and drill, cut parts for assembly.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.

Quality Control Inspector (Oceanside, CA)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing, the individual will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce the following programs:
    • Company's Safety and Environmental Program
    • DWP's
    • Annual Storm Water Sampling Programs
    • Hazardous Waste Program
    • Other programs as instructed by management
  • Formulate sampling procedures and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.  Direct production in measurement, inspection and testing activities to ensure quality control and reliability.
  • Record, or, oversee recording of information to ensure accuracy of engineering drawings and documentation for production problems.  This includes weighing and measuring materials, equipment, products, maintaining relevant records using pertinent inspection tools for accurate doumnetation.
  • Develops test procedures per each contract specification requirements.
  • Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to dertermine test results.

Electrical Apprentice (Oceanside, CA)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Lead Electrician, Shop Supervisor or Director of Manufacturing individual shall:

  • Assist electricians in assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using had tools and power tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  • Assist in the repair or replacement of wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Fasten plastic boxes to bulkheads to boat electrical switches or outlets.
  • Assist in the assembly of electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components and units.
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  • Assist in the installation of electrical distribution including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment such as circuit breakers, and switches.
  • Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers.
  • Assist in the installation of equipment and accessories such as navigation equipment, and communication equipment.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing 12v and 24v systems. (preferred)
  • Expected to learn the role of an electrician in order to advance in the company.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, masks, goggles, etc.).

Mechanic Apprentice (Oceanside, CA)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Lead Mechanic, Shop Supervisor or Director of Manufacturing, individual shall:

  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, jacks and hoists. 
  • Raise heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
  • Assist in the inspection and verification of dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
  • Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps and compressors.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating and cleaning parts.
  • Assist in dismantling machines and subassemblies to gain access to and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Assist in emergency repairs.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
  • Assist in installing steering system, water jets, engines, fuel systems, raw water system, controls, deck and hardware.
  • Basic math skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplycation, Division).
  • Coordinate work assignment preparation and completion with other workers.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
  • Previous experience in the marine industry preferred.
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors.
